The best pizza I have had in Florida in my 18 years here bar none! Open until 2 AM in the terribly sleepy hamlet of Boca-Raton. Highly recommended. The slices are huge and tasty. They've got a daily special that'll knock your socks off too. Only downside is the shopping center is a little dicey - one of those places with a 7-11, Western Union transfers & populated with characters that look like they came right out of "Breaking Bad."

mediocre pizza - terrible staff, long delivery times, horrible customer service. they use to be better, but since the owner got lazy, stopped making the food, and hired a useless staff they have plummeted down hill in my book. Save yourself time & money - get a frozen pizza from the super market and stay home.

Best pizza in town! Although it's expensive when we want to impress our friends with a Big apple style pizza we order from Bocas Best. We always win hehe.

It wasn't bad and it wasn't great so that makes it the perfect late night meal. It's currently half past 1am and I just finished a days worth of design work so a place where I can park it for half an hour is always welcomed. WARNING: it's incredibly salty and tastes so. I'd stick to cheese pizza from here on out. Definitely worth one visit for sure.

I used to eat here weekly, when food was amazing, but over the past few months I dont know what happened. Marinara sauce has been flavorless, and bland. I dont know if they got a new chef or what changed but this is not the Bocas best I loved. The service is always amazing staff is attentive and nice. I might give it another chance to see if it redeems itself.

Spectacular food, great atmosphere and awesome staff! Definitely lives up to the name - it IS the best pizza in Boca! It's a little warm in there but overall excellent experience every time I go. In addition to the pizza, I highly recommend the Stromboli. I always do build-your-own and it turns out great every time! $8 for a huge "small" Stromboli - I never get through more than 1/3! You can't go wrong with this place.

Great New York style pizza! Best garlic rolls I've ever had. My only complaint is that their pies only go up to 16", which is pretty small for a large pizza.

  • Fish H.

Wings are so good here. Pizza is amazing, it is bocas best pizza. The sauce flows like the rivers of Babylon.

Pleased with food- took than quoted. Pizza, wings, calamari and Caesar salad all good! Tenders and fries a little cold for my daughter. All in all a good experience

Great little spot. Some quality pies and good service. Bathrooms a little dirty. But still a come back place.

  • Rohan P.

Pretty good pizza, good service is always a plus. The waitresses are pretty friendly. They do have a couple of combos with slices and drinks and quite a decent amount of varieties. The pizza is very nice, served hot and tastes very authentic. Another good plus is its open till late (2am) so always a good hop after a few rounds of drinks before you go back home! The place is cozy and very nice!

My first visit here I ordered to go the Boca's best sampler. It was very good I can't wait to try more items on the menu!

I've eaten here many times and the food is always incredible. I usually order a sub and fries but i also really like their pasta. The hours it's open is another huge plus. Their waitresses are some of the friendliest I've seen. The bathroom is always neat and clean at least from my experiences. They use to have a man vs food style contest, which I tried but failed to complete. Oh I almost forgot about their macaroni salad, OMG amazing does not cover it. Honestly it's the best macaroni salad I've ever tasted and they give you a little helping free with sandwiches. Idk what the other reviewers were talking about because I've always found their prices to be more than reasonable. I also love that they give you free refills on soda, I now unfortunately live in Delray Beach and most restaurants are stingy on the refills lol. I definitely recommend Bocas best for anyone that wants a quick bite to eat or a nice Italian restaurant with great service and none of the pretentiousness.

If you want great pizza, skip the crap like Domino's and go to Boca's Best! They make some of the best pizza I have ever had which means a lot coming from me since I have worked at 2 gourmet pizzerias. Boca's Best is definitely not "gourmet" but far above the commercial crap that so many people eat. My first experience with Boca's Best was when I was told I had to try a Steak Bomb. A steak bomb is similar to a calzone, stuffed with the ingredients of a philly cheese steak including french fries! Served with the best spicy ranch I have ever had, I was hooked. Since then I have also had Bruschetta Bread which was not that great in my opinion, Garlic Rolls which are routinely awesome, and my boyfriend has ordered buffalo shrimp a few times. I have had four instances were I was very displeased with Boca's Best but in general, I will always go back to get pizza from them over ordering pizza from any other place. There french fries were terrible the one time I ordered them.... over cooked and flavorless. Another time they killed our pizza with too much cheese after we asked for just a little extra, & finally, one other time we built our own pizza with spinach and mushrooms-- the mushrooms were slimy and tasted off which ruined the whole pizza. I would always recommend to checking your sauces if you ordered extra dressings or sides of sauce. The restaurant is clean & they are open late (2 am usually) which is excellent for those of us in the industry who get off work late.

I've spent an almost absurd amount of money here in the past but I'm going to be an ex customer now. When this location opened it was a revelation. Great wings, pizza, etc. although the pizza prices never sat well with me. Over the course of the past few years the quality has steadily gone down and yet I ate once a week if not more do to a lack of competition in the area. Today I opened up the menu to see all the prices have risen in some cases significantly. This could be justified I suppose if the product was getting better, not worse. Goodbye Boca' Best. It's you not me.

Consistently perfect pizza, great salads, delicious Italian meals, and friendly, awesome servers that 9 out of 10 times have our order memorized. Very reasonable prices and super clean, always. I truly love this place and regret it anytime I end up anywhere else.

  • Freddy G.

This place is pretty good, i was here with my friends and we r all from California down here for a lil getaway, stopped by here late at night around 1:30 am and they stay open the latest in the area till 2am, the place had a nice oldschool vibe to it, food was really good and the service was outstanding, very happy and will be back anytime I come back in town, recommended!

Update: I've absolutely loved this place for years now but lately it's been going downhill and downhill quickly.. Not only do they have the worlds most air headed girls working there that seem like they're on some type of drugs (last time I was in there I called ahead for two slices of cheese pizza, the girl told me 10 mins and I got there in about 15, went to the counter told her my name and paid.. Then I waited another 20 mins, thinking I'm waiting for it to be ready.. But after waiting for so long I got fed up and asked the girl when my order would be ready.. She turns around grabs my order which has been siting there sense I first paid her and hands it to me.. No apology or anything) anyways, pizza still taste amazing but the employees are terrible, and the place just got shut down for 24 hours for rats and roaches. Check the latest health inspection as I would not recommended coming here. I want the old Boca Best experience back

A so-so chef salad took over 15 minutes to prepare for takeout while there were no customers in the restaurant. The server preparing the salad was having a personal conversation with another server, who was standing in the first server's way at the prep counter, requiring the first server to walk around her to reach items and work on the salad. Every time the server preparing the salad had something to say to her friend, she stopped working. The customer did not come first. I doubt I'll ever go back.

Darn good pizza! Seems like a college hangout...I visited at 1 am and the place was packed with college students having a good time. For a hole in the wall, the pizza is outstanding. As a bonus when you check in with yelp you get three free garlic rolls that are out of this world. Enough said. Try it...you will not be disappointed!

  • Michael A.

Ordered a simple Chicken Caesar salad. Waited an hour to get it delivered without the chicken. Then they offered to give me a credit for the price of the missing chicken.. or wait another hour for a remake. First time ordering pizza in this town. Not the place to go if you want proper service.

i thought i was never gonna find a pizza place like the ones they have in new york... enter bocas best pizza bar!!!!!!! super yummy. the slices are a great size and very cheesy. and dont get me started on the garlic knots!!! WOW. i was amazingly surprised. i will definitely be coming back. the prices arent so bad either.

I just had the worst pizza. Tomato paste on dough. Not even what was ordered. Shared with a few people that also confirm. Don't waste your money.

  • Mike S.

First of all, best garlic knots I have ever had!!!! Amazing!!! the service here was great. Our server was very hospitable and friendly. Our meal had great portion sizes for the price. Awesome lunch deals!!! Overall a great place for dinner or lunch!! Yum

  • Les A.

Food is generally well prepared. Good pizza - I ordered it thin crust with light cheese, came exactly as I wanted. The chicken marsala is a specialty and is a treat. Portions are huge, we almost always take leftovers. Only misstep is that it seems to take a bit long to get the food and the service, while friendly, is not always the most efficient. Prices are quite reasonable. I have no problem recommending this place.

    (4)
  • Alex L.

Easily the best pizza I've had in Boca! If you're really craving pizza, it's worth the drive from any part of Boca. The staff is nice, the prices aren't crazy, and the delivery is pretty decent. I've also heard that their others dishes are good as well!

  • Nick A.

Ordered 3 pies from here @ work, crust had that sandpaper nail file'er quality to it, their pizza tasted better when i went there & orderdd a slice Worst part was a coworker had a dead bug up in her salad, looked like a little roach or beatle but does it really matter

    (1)
  • Surina S.

Ordered from here today. I got the small Cobb salad, which was big portion. We also ordered a pizza, I didn't really care for the cheese but I did like the garlic sauce that came with the pizza. My boyfriend however the pizza was pretty good. I would order from here agin, but next time I would try a pasta dish

    (3)
  • Salomon D.

Solid pizza! It's a bit greasy for my taste but some may like it. The portions are large and the service is good. I've been here with a group plenty of times and they're nothing but accommodating. I wish they had more/other drink options. Beside that, it's a great little place to have a slice.

    (4)
  • Stephanie A.

We brought a huge group and had a great time. The pizza was great, especially the garlic roles. Low maintenance and quick, but you still enjoy it. I definitely recommend it.

    (4)
  • Connor T.

Came with a big group and they were very accommodating. Had the big pies of pizza. Delicious... Little greasy but what's pizza without the grease? I'd recommend it.

Bad ass margaritta pie. Perfect for after hours out dancing in Delray. Demolished it. So Yummie.

  • Natalie H.

Pizza is great! I always ask for it well done and they have tons of choices for toppings. I always order pizza, and have never been disappointed, but last night I was in the mood for fries too (heart attack city, I know). STAY AWAY FROM THE FRIES! They were completely underdone and were very underwhelming... For $3 it wasn't a huge loss but just a little disappointing. I think I'll just be sticking to their pizza going forward. Oh! Also, little side note. If you've ordered before and have a coupon to use then decide to check in on yelp to get the free garlic rolls for a complete meal they won't accept both "coupons". It doesn't say it anywhere on their coupons that they only accept one "coupon" per order and I really just wanted my pizza without an argument so I let it slide... That was just pretty annoying... Sry for the long review. potato.

  • Kristina K.

I ordered a cheese pizza and 10 wings for delivery and was told it would be 45 minutes. My food wasn't delivered until an hour and a half later. I called at 1:45 to check the status and was told it was ready and will be delivered soon and didn't receive until after 2:30 am which the restaurant was already closed by then. And my food was all cold . not even warm. Just cold .

Don't think we'll order from here again unless we're drunk or desperate unfortunately .. Past few visits we have been left unhappy. Between over cooked and under cooked food.. And the prices of the pizzas are too pricy for the quality. Sorry guys, staying away from this spot unless Im highly intoxicated and don't have any food in my fridge.

Boca's Best was a diamond in the rough. A pizza joint located in a plaza with 7-11. I stumbled upon this place by googling pizza in Boca. Here this place pops up. It offers pretty good pizza, with a mild robust sauce you and a friend can eat there with little change in your pockets! Staff is friendly and portions are more than enough. They run daily specials, so you will find something here. There something for everyone from pizza to pasta to

  • Liando M.

Great pizza, quality is great, friendly staff and really the only other pizza place other than tamassos than I really like! They have a great two slice pizza with a drink for 5.99! A must try better than these other pizza joints! Try it out won't be disappointed!!!

  • Gianna S.

This place is defiantly forgettable. The service is ok, the price is average to a little above( considering it's a pizza joint), but the one thing I do recall is grease. A ton of grease. It was soggy and the calzone was weak. The taste was good though. However somewhere i mostly will never order from again. Just sayin, I'm sure there are people who love that kind of grease. Just not for me.

  • Walker M.

I know this place gets mixed reviews. I personally love it. It's not like it's a 5 star Italian restaurant. It's a pretty decent little late night pizza and sandwich shop. Big fan of their pizza. Their toppings are awesome. Actual pieces of real bacon! And the fact that they're open late to deliver is great. When everyone else is closed? Who else ya gonna call? Gotta be bocas best! Smart for the business.

Wow wow wow. Ate here for dinner last night and it was delicious. This place is located right next to a 7 Eleven which was great because it allowed me to get my grocery shopping done after dinner without having to drive all the way to publix. We ordered garlic rolls, garlic bread, wings, and a large pizza. The bread was great and reminded me of the scones my nanny used to make me whenever I would get the chicken pox. Really had that homemade taste to it. We decided on the asian bbq wings which were a blend of their 2 flavors. What a classy move on their part by offering this. Unfortunately I didn't think the wings were that great. The sauce was just OK and when I bit into the wing I bit right into a huge chicken bone! Yuck who wants that?? Now to the pizza. The pizza was pretty good, crisp pepperoni's laid across a bed of sauce and cheese. Did someone say delivery? Haha I Think So! The service was great. Our waitress was very nice. She had a Dave Coulier haircut and the personality of Mr Roper so you know we all had a great time! I would definitely recommend this place!

    (4)
  • Arianna N Shaffer S.

I really do love this place and getting takeout from here but they really do screw up our orders than they do get it right and always forget items... We have just let it go so many times but pne it's getting to a point where their screw ups are just getting super obnoxious

    (2)
  • Burt L.

Adequate pizza. Nothing special. Garlic butter sauce for the crusts adds something, but I would skip this if I found myself back in Boca, even if eating on a limited budget.

    (2)
  • Jon S.

Truly Boca's best pizzeria! I order from there A LOT! Every meal is perfect. My go to dish is the spinach calzone with sausage and a Frisco salad. Meal cost me about 10-12 dollars but it's worth 20-30! The food is seriously good and the wait staff and delivery people are awesome. Every time I order they say 30-45 minute delivery time but it's more like 20. I always make sure I take care of the delivery guys because they have a rough job delivering to horrible boca people and they're still very nice. If you want great Italian food at a great price look no further. Don't bother with cannoli kitchen, they're the fast food pizzeria.

I've eaten at this restaurant twice: both times during the lunch hour. It is located in a small shopping area that has an issue with parking availabiltiy as well as awkward parking space formation... tight fit any which way you look at it. The first time was takeout and didn't take too long (about 15 minutes). The second time was dine in and that took quite some time! My friend and I sat ourselves and our waitress came by shortly with drinks which was good. We placed our orders and waited and waited and waited. As we waited, my friend and I admired and noted the decor was nice. Definitely a feel of Italian style. In the fairly decent sized dining area are 2 flat screen tvs which on this occasion were displaying the ESPN highlights. There was one thing about the decor that was a wee bit of a nuisance, the lighting about the table was low and although it had a casing, the lightbulb hung too low... minor but still. Anywho, after a 30-35 min wait, the pizza slices came. I know pizza can only be a certain type of healthy but it was greasy... like ohemgee-- double the paper plates cause grease is leaking through to the table. I ordered one pepperoni and one cheese. My bf ordered one pepperoni and one sausage. I blotted the grease, tried to let it drip and was still pretty greasy. He got his order as placed, I got two pepperoni (wasn't too mad since the second one was not charged the $0.60 add'l topping charge). IDK if this will be my go to pizza place, as of now-- not so much but they do have great lunch specials (aside from pizza) that sound great and I may try! Long story: $5.99 per person for 2 slices of pizza and a drink... not too bad of a deal.

My new pizza joint. We've done Peace Pizza, Rotelli's, Anthony's Coal, ...most of the local joints. This is by far the best. Delicious crust, crisped but chewy. Right amount of sauce. They do my half pineapple/ half olive and pepper combo perfectly. Tastes delicious and its decent delivery time. Finally we have found a Boca pizza joint that doesn't end with a look through the fridge after the first slice!

Great pizza, super nice staff, great find in a world of chain restaurants that all look the same.

3.5 A nice little surprise. It's not located in the greatest places and the previous restaurants there weren't exactly stellar, but this place is kind of charming. Great service. Great prices. A really good place to grab a slice or calzone and you can just feel the appreciation the moment you step in the door.

  • Amy S.

One word....AMAZING! The food was delicious, service was awesome and we loved the local feel. It seemed there are tons of regular customers as most were greeted by name. This is rare nowadays! We started with the Bruschetta Bread - I loved the mozzarella center in a unique garlic roll (later found out they actually make their own mozzarella cheese! Tried the Fried Cheese Ravioli - I have never had fried ravioli and will be back for more!!! The Asian BBQ wings were another favorite. Penne alla Vodka is a must try!!! My husband and I are looking forward to coming back! Thank you for a best pizza bar in Boca - loved the homemade items!!! This is just what Boca needed :)

Love Love Love their pizza! Perfect crispness, amount of sauce and toppings. I love that it is a small business. Their prices are very fair for the great quality! Our perfect pizza is pepperoni, grilled chicken, and pineapple. Yum!

  • Boris B.

The service and environment make it the kind of small business pizza joint I can always come back to, the pizza I would call balanced, very cheesy but very greasy, satisfactory over all! This is a nice place to grab a quick slice on the go or have a relaxing sit down. Not bad!

  • Lilly Bean B.

Love it here. Definitely the best pizza. No need to ask for extra cheese because it comes with alot. The garlic butter sauce for ut crust is so yummy. Also I've had the sandwiches and salads yummy house made balsamic dressing. I recommend you givevthis place a try. Oh and Bari works there is very sweet!

Best pizza in FL since I moved here in 2008 bar none. I don't eat the crust of my slice, ever. But the dipping sauce they give you with your pizza has changed me. Like what Papa John's does but so much better. I used to hold Primo Pizza in Miami as my number one but now I don't even eat pizza unless it's from Boca's Best.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
